The Gathering Bell

Every day at 5:00 p.m., the bell rings five times from The Stonebreaker courtyard, marking the start of the evening and inviting guests and team members to gather.

Inspired by Joy Pratt’s Hilltop Camps tradition of ringing the dinner bell, The Gathering Bell carries a piece of Markham Hill history forward. Today, the ritual represents relationship, restoration and abundance, a moment to come together, enjoy what’s being shared and settle into the evening ahead.

As the bell rings, guests are invited to join us in The Restaurant for a complimentary taste of our signature Stonebreaker Smash, made with bourbon, blackberry, sassafras and lemon, alongside a savory house snack of seasoned nuts, seeds, corn nuts and pretzel bites.
